Mama was being funny after a bath a couple weeks ago and fashioned this fabulous hairstyle for me. She thought you would enjoy these pictures.

17 Months Old

On this day back in April, we dropped Papa off at a job and headed to a park with a playground and beach. There were lots of little daisy flowers in the grass and sand to play in. It was a very quiet playground, only two other kids there with their Mama. We eventually got to the beach area, where there were a bunch of ducks and geese, but Mama had to stop video-ing me because I was getting ready to follow them straight into the water.

As the weather has gotten nicer and nicer, we've been spending a lot more time outside and have not been taking the time to work on our blog. For this, we are very sorry. We will try and catch up a little bit in the next few days, but we're not promising anything, as the sun is supposed to shine for another week in a row and we've got lots of playing to do!

This video was taken back on April 26th. Mama, Papa and I went to a park we'd never been to before and looked at flowers and ran around on the green, green grass.

Penguins at the Zoo

So last Monday when my friend Mia came over to play, Mama & Papa decided to take us to the zoo to see the animals...especially the new penguin exhibit. I've learned to do the sign language "sign" for penguin which looks kind of like waddling...except I often spread my legs pretty far apart and look terribly adorable when I do it...look for it in the video. Oh, also, I'm the one with the backwards green baseball cap. It's hard to tell at first but you'll see me really soon. My friend Mia has the pink sweatshirt and the multi-colored knit hat. ( I think Mama was more excited about the penguins than most of us kids...but she's just a big kid herself. She was silly.)

Here Mia and I are really checking out the penguins...they were swimming back and forth like crazy!
