uhn uhn uhn bath!
When I think of my favorite things, like bathing, I get all kinds of excited. I do a special bath dance where my feet go up and down rapidly and I sing the bath song, "uhn, uhn, uhn!"
For some reason we only get in the tub two or three times week if I'm lucky. Bath time is never long enough. We only stay in the tub until Mama and Papa say, "Okay, your a prune, let's get out...", like being a prune is bad?

Tuesday at the Beach - a Blustery Day!
So, while Mama's & my day at the beach was pretty quiet and peaceful on Monday, when we went back on Tuesday with friends, it was considerably more windy (please forgive the background noise on the video) and with a lot more stuff going on!
First, our friends Jen, Viviana, & Ollie met us there and then we met a little boy named Owen and we randomly played with several other kids as well. THEN, we got to play in the water as well as with all the toys we all brought...more than just buckets and shovels, we had a kite and trucks and matchbox cars!!!! WOW!
Here we are getting busy at the beach immediately upon arrival.

I was super excited about the water, but wow, it was really, really cold. I wasn't so eager to jump right in after I felt a little bit on my toes! YOW!

Here Viviana and I are having a perfect sandy moment with the beautiful Olympic Mountains in the background.

Viviana and Ollie posing on our driftwood stump for a picture.

You can see how windy it was...nearly knocked me off my feet!

Besides the wind, I had to deal with the soft sand, and these weird shoes they call "sandals". I was having a heck of a time keeping my balance.

Me & Viviana playing with Matchbox cars on the stump!

Ollie's Mama, Jen, was being very silly trying to get the two of us to look up and smile for the camera.

A quiet moment near the end of our day.

Monday at the Beach - Mama & Me
The last 2 days in Seattle have been AMAZINGLY beautiful, so on Monday, late morning, Mama & I decided we'd go to the beach! There's a really great one at this park called Golden Gardens. It's right on the Puget Sound but it feels like you're at the real ocean!
It was a pretty quiet and peaceful time just playing in the sand. Pretty warm, maybe low to mid 70s, bet we still needed to keep our hats on and sunblock replenished.
Here are some still photos of me that you can download if you want.

Whoops! Going a little crazy with the spoon and sand.

Burying myself in the sand very, very carefully.

Shoveling with "flair"!

Some lady went by and made me laugh!

Playing under the bicycle rack!

Three By Sea
Mama and Papa are pretty spontaneous, and this one weekend morning they decided as we ate breakfast to take a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island.
On our ride over on the ferry we met a family who were nice enough to show us around the island. We must of walked 8 miles or more just looking around. Boy were Mama & Papa tired after carrying me all that way!
Cool, look at all that water!

Let me just get a little closer look.

All that fresh air on the ferry knocked me out...I took a little nap while riding on Papa's back.

But then I woke up again.

And was in a very silly mood.

Here we are with are new friends, Parham, Paula, and their two kids, Nilo and Teo! Parham was showing us all the sealife under the docks...very cool!

Watering the Garden
Yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day in Seattle and Mama & Papa & I had picked up some last supplies we needed at the garden store to get a really good start on our garden this year. While Papa was putting some of the last plants in pots for the day, I was discovering the rain barrel and how it works with a Kieran-sized watering can. Good thing that I helped Mama pick out white overalls for me to wear today.
Mama took a bunch of photos too...I was really having an amazing time with the water and the pail.

At this point I started helping Papa dig with my water pail...it didn't work too well.

There are some of Papa's herbs he just planted.

Oh, but I was very, very unhappy to have to go inside...but I was getting wetter and muddier every minute...Mama said it was "damage control."

More Suprises for Kieran
The other day I was so popular! I not only received an Easter package from Texas but I also received a "just for fun" package from Mama's "other Mom" Mrs. Reimer! It was super cool and I love it...wait til you see this video! Thank you thank you thank you Mrs. R!
Here are a couple of still shots of me enjoying my new book.

An Apple and a Knife
Papa is sooooo awesome! - just the other day he let me have an apple and a knife! Mama kinda acted like she was going to die every couple of seconds and made so many funny noises that I was not sure what was happening with her. Just watch and see for yourself.

Happy Easter to Kieran!
A couple days ago I got a package in the mail from Texas! Even though Mama and Papa put it somewhat out of my sight, I still found it and insisted on opening it up right away. It was an Easter Package from Grandma Shirley, Papa Tom, Aunt Debra, and my cousins Brian and Johnny. Super FUN! Thank you thank you thank you!
Easter Egg Scramble!
So, yesterday I went to my first Easter Egg "Hunt"...but it was for little kids like me, so there was less hunting and more scrambling and grabbing than anything. Unfortunately, just as they said "Three, Two, One, Go!" my shoe fell off and Mama was putting it back on my foot while the other toddlers headed for the eggs and candy. It wasn't a very successful scramble for me (Mama was sad for me...but she got over it). Next year I'll be ready for sure!
Here are some of the photos of me before the "hunt". Mama kept giving me this bucket and telling me to hold it (so she could take pictures, of course) and all the other kids had buckets and baskets, but I really didn't know why.

Hey Mama, here I am, holding the bucket just like you told me to.

Is there supposed to be something in this thing? Mine's empty.

Oh Mother Dear, could you please tell me why we are all waiting here in this gym?

After the hunt, we tried to get a picture of Mama and me, but I was way too wiggly.

I see more flowers that I need to go explore!

On the Neighbors' Steps
I strolled over to our neighbors' back yard and was just hanging out in the sun on their steps. Their boys are older now but one of their old dinosaur toys was still around for me to check out. Cool!

Working in the Yard
So Mama snuck up on Papa and I as we were "working" in the backyard with the doggies and took this video. It's not super action-packed, but we think you will enjoy it anyway.

Through the Cat Door
On St. Patty's Day, after we came back from the zoo, Papa was in the back yard putting our dog fence back up while a tree guy used a chainsaw to cut some wood from the trees our landlord just had taken down. I was in the kitchen checking out all the action. Mama said something about me and a chainsaw being too close to each other made her nervous. Luckily I have this great vantage point from where I can watch lots of stuff going on outside...including the siting of the "dancing leprechaun"!
